Travelers flying from the airports of Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch can reach the island through at least 3 stops – at Sydney, Bangkok, Amsterdam, Bristol, Manchester, or Birmingham. Those from Christchurch travel for at least 34h 30min while those from Auckland can reach it within 32h 5min. Travelers coming from Wellington travel for around 35h 55min. Carriers offering flights to and from these stopovers include British Airways, Emirates, Flybe, China Eastern Airlines, and Qantas Airways.
