Vietnam Airlines is the national carrier of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The airline operates an extensive network which offers over 40 domestic and international flights. Vietnam Airlines offers a three tier frequent flyer program known as Golden Lotus Plus. This membership program offers passengers many great benefits including exclusive services and tickets. The three different levels of membership of the Vietnam Airlines Golden Lotus Plus program is Silver, Titanium, and Gold. The airline also offers its business lounges to business class travellers, VIPs and Gold members of Golden Lotus Plus, which include amenities such as shower facilities, and free wireless internet. Furthermore, private suites are available with free food services.
Vietnam Airlines operates a fleet of 60 airplanes including jet airliners and new turboprops. The airline offers flights from Auckland to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang. Additionally, Vietnam Airlines also have code-shares and interline agreements with many other airlines, including China Airlines, American Airlines, Australia's Virgin Blue and S7 Airlines of Russia.
