Royal Brunei



Based in its main hub at Brunei International Airport, which is north of the capital of Brunei, Royal Brunei Airlines is the national carrier airline of the Sultanate of Brunei. The airline is owned by the Brunei Government and its fleet consists of 11 aircraft, which includes Airbus A320, Boeing 767-300 ER, and Airbus A319 aircraft. The Royal Brunei Airlines operates in Europe, Oceania and Asia. It also services the destinations of Auckland, Perth and Ho Chi Minh City.

Royal Brunei offers two travel classes in its aircraft cabins; these are Business and Economy classes. Passengers who travel Business Class on long-haul can choose to have their meals up to 90 minutes before landing, which is a part of the airlines’ Dine upon Request programme. Business class passengers on selected routes can also enjoy the SkyDreamer seats that recline up to 75 inches. In addition to this The SkyLounge is available to Business Class travellers to use its facilities, which include workstations, free internet access and ablutions areas for Muslim. In Economy Class entertainment and dining are all complimentary and seats offers all passengers spacious leg room.

Royal Brunei frequent flyer program is the Royal Skies and its membership levels are Blue, Silver and Gold. Royal Skies rewards members who are frequent flyers on every eligible Royal Brunei flight or for using its services and products. Royal Skies membership will not expire as long as the members use their card within three years. However, Silver and Gold cards come with an expiry date for their benefit period.

While the airline has code share agreements with Philippine Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Dragon Air and British Midland, Royal Brunei Airlines' subsidiaries comprise of only companies that are not involved in the airline's business such as Royal Brunei Trading, Royal Brunei Catering, RBA Golf Club Sdn. Bhd, Mulaut Abattoir Sdn. Bhd, Brunei International Air Cargo Centre (BIACC) and Abacus Distribution Systems (B) Sdn. Bhd. Royal Brunei Airlines offers regular services to over 20 destinations from its expanded network. The airline also flies directly from Auckland to Burnei, London, Kuching with connections available to other major destinations including Dubai, Singapore, and Jakarta.
