Freedom Air

Freedom Air is a New Zealand based low cost carrier operating from Auckland International Airport. The airline flies to six destinations in Australia and four in New Zealand. The airline began in 1995 in response the growing demand for low cost travel on the trans-Tasman route and was later taken over by Air New Zealand. The airline doesn’t have a lounge, business/premium class, video or audio entertainment. All flights will end in March 2008, being replaced (with the exception of Palmerston North) by Air New Zealand flights.

Freedom Air operates flights to Hamilton, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Palmerston North to Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne
